volunteers needed to make hand sewn masks
The CDC is now recommending people wear face coverings in public where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies). The CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others.
“My mask protects you; your mask protects me.”
We need volunteers to make hand sewn masks for their communities so the surgical masks can go to healthcare workers. Many locations in Ramsey County are collecting masks, including schools, food shelves, homeless shelters, and Ramsey County Social Services. Bring your hand sewn masks to one of these drop-off locations in Ramsey County.
